About Strawberry Fields

A true gem coming out of the Netherlands, breeders at Sagarmatha Seeds created quite a strain for indica lovers to enjoy. By crossing Strawberry Cough with an unknown indica parent, they’ve developed a delicious bud that’s great for unwinding after a long day. Be sure to have plenty of snacks in the house for this one, and prepare to enjoy a night of total peace.

Strawberry Fields makes you imagine frolicking in the sunshine, but don’t be fooled by her pretty name. This strain brings a high of 24% THC and isn’t to be toyed with. Her flavors, however, are another story as citrus and sugary sweet strawberries make you feel like you’re enjoying the perfect dessert. Nugs tend to be conical in shape and boast a thick layer of chunky crystals across their light green exterior.

Just as you’ve come to the belief that all is right in the world, your body will start to feel the true effects of this strain. Unlike a lot of strains on the market, Strawberry Fields offers around 1% CBD along with her high THC content, making this plant an awesome choice for medical users. Stress and depression are among the most common ailments that this bud can wash away, and physical pain including headaches and cramps become a thing of the past after just a few hits. Many find this strain to be so sedating that they fall asleep, making it an ideal choice for those struggling with insomnia.

Home growers will appreciate the resiliency of this plant as Strawberry Fields can withstand mold, pests, and extreme weather along with the best of them. This allows outdoor cultivation to be quite easy, although you can certainly choose to plant her inside as well. Experts advise using hydroponics whenever possible, and after a relatively short 7 to 9 weeks of flowering time, you’ll be able to reap your rewards. Yields aren’t ridiculously high here, but approaching this strain with a quality over quantity mindset will help.

Because this strain is so delicious, users may have the tendency to just keep smoking and smoking until they feel something, but in this case, that’s a pretty bad idea. Strawberry Fields will hit you when you’re least expecting it, so while she’s delicious, try to satisfy your sweet tooth with snacks instead of just smoking more. Great for a calm evening at home or a lazy Saturday afternoon where the only thing on your agenda is a nap, this strain creates friends fast.

Strawberry Fields was recommended to me by a a friend. I tried it and found that not only was the high enjoyable but the sweet taste of strawberries is such a plus. Now I grow Strawberry Fields and it promises to be a huge harvest. The plant is about 5X5' and just beginning the spiral into bloom. Can't wait to enjoy the strawberry flavor again.
