Ice Cream Cake is more than it seems, though if you’re looking for vanilla-scented cookie-cheese goodness, it will deliver the goods you think it will. The strain has a mysterious lineage, adding mystique to the mix. We know it was bred by Mad Scientist Genetics out of Bakersfield, California. And we know there was a wedding at some point; we just don’t know between who and how. Some say Dream Cookie married Cheese Cake, while others say Wedding Cake shacked up with Gelato 33. The debatable genetics reveal a 75/25 Indica/Sativa mix and incredible flavors that have to come from something with a dessert-like, nutty vanilla lineage. We’re just not positive from which direction.
Appearance, Aroma & Flavor
Smoking Ice Cream Cake starts off with a flavor like cream cheese and vanilla, relaxing into a nutty exhale that starts to drift towards citrus and herbs.

Ice Cream Cake grows into its nutty vanilla scent with a colorful bouquet of buds. They’re different shades of green and purple, decorated with rusty hairs and frosty crystals. Its major terpenes include limonene and caryophyllene, with some myrcene peaking through. These give it a citrusy overtone, an almost orange aroma, mixed with cinnamon. The truly nosy cannabis connoisseurs will be able to sniff out lavender as well.
Effects
Ice Cream Cake's effects are pungent owing to mid-20s THC levels. It gives you a cerebral push, a lift in your mind that encourages happiness, easiness, and positivity. Stayin medicated
I really love this strain a lot. I see that it’s a cross of wedding cake (love that strain too) and gelato. I’ve been buying this strain from smarty plants out here in California for awhile now because it always gets the job done. Super euphoric, helps with my anxiety and muscle pains a lot from my injuries. ICC has a great vanilla cookie nutty flavor to it that’s very enjoyable. I’ve noticed I can take a few bong rips during the day and be perfectly medicated with this strain but if I want to get the drowsy sleepy feeling this strain can put off I’ll take a few more than that in the evening time to help go to bed . This strain can act as a great hybrid or as a more heavy indica dominant hybrid if you want it to. This is a great strain that really covers all the boxes! Stay medicated fam!

just smoked this for the first time from klutch cannabis award winning definitely. Now they bred theres wedding cake and gelato #33 I must say it is to die for.But this bud is so smooth on the exhale it is sweet indeed, but what hits you first is gas very very diesel like taste but Smooths out after the exhale is when i tasted a sweet green taste wouldnt say vanilla but def a sweet almost fruity like flavor. The high is very relaxing but for me Im a smoke all day everyday pot head. Its rare I go without, Im able to be productive at work and function just fine. Id def say if your like me then a few toke throughout the day will keep you going.

A great strain to help deal with a combination of anxiety and depression, so long as you have nothing left to do today. The late stage high can bring on sleep but I'd say it's better for quiet hours at home when you'd rather be awake. Excellent experience overall, one of my favorite evening time strains.

Ever since I started smoking this strain a couple of weeks ago, my appetite has decreased considerably, to the point that I have lost significant weight. Not sure if this is just a coincidence, but it's the only thing that's changed. I don't believe this strain has much CBD or THCV, so I'm not sure what may be causing this in this strain. Otherwise, it provides a wonderful full body high, which is relaxing and the strain also tends to make things seem humorous. I did experience some dizziness, but nothing major.
