About GMO

History & Genetics

GMO has the hype behind it, backed by THC, for users driven by a crazy obsession to taste its unique, spicy flavor. The strain can put you down and knock you out, wielding a somewhat mysterious genetic lineage against the stresses of your broken brain. Divine Genetics created GMO and locked its sights on experienced users, those who don’t mind a little extra spice (and a lot of extra kick). The strain's name acronym technically refers to a genetically modified organism, but not the kind you should avoid in fast food. We'd like to think that it stands for garlic-mushroom-onion because that's exactly how it smells.

Once you get your hands on some coveted 90% indica GMO, you’ll be able to sense its cautiously reported origins as a phenotype of a cross between GSC and Chemdawg. The strain has high levels of THC from 22-30%.

Appearance, Aroma & Flavor

The unique aroma has earned GMO the nickname “Garlic Cookies.” The aroma starts with a layer of rubber, gas, and chemical goodness, which transforms into earthy spices, sort of like grassy, spicy pine. All of these odd smells add up to the “garlic, mushrooms, and onions” smell we mentioned earlier. This is a strain for people used to funk and ready for more, let’s put it that way.

GMO grows in foxtails, with slender buds that grow densely, with long bodies shaped like peppers. The gnarled, dark green and purple colas give off smelly visions of the outdoors, chemical pine, and other gasses. Its terpenes favor Caryophyllene and Myrcene, which deliver not only the smell but the spicy kick as well.

Effects

As for GMO’s effects, you need to use this during the night when you don’t have much else going on. You’ll be wooed into relaxing by 24% THC levels (some report as high as 30%), feeling euphoric and sleepy. You can stay in the euphoria for as long as you like, hours if you need it, but you’ll be putting down couch roots while you wait, asleep before you know it.

This strain’s effects can be great for treating pain conditions (it can even reduce inflammation). Anxiety and nausea are no match for GMO. Even minor eating disorders can be dispelled on a steady diet of Garlic Cookies.

Growing

The thick, sour strain bursts with resiny trichomes that both attract and deter passionate trimmers. In about nine weeks, it can pull in beautiful crops that look and smell the part of a stinky but satisfying strain. So long as you can handle the spicy cocktail of flavors and verging-on-maddening THC levels, GMO should be on your stress-relief diet from now on.

This baby laid me out cold. I tried it during the day time and that was not good idea.. I was really hammered. This batch ran at 38.7%.. Unbelievable. Make sure you don't have anything to do the rest of the day or night if you burn up this one.
