About Forbidden Fruit

History & Genetics

Eve had the right idea - that is if she were reaching for this particular Forbidden Fruit. Apples are great and all, but we assure you once you’ve tried this strain, you’ll have a hard time imagining Eden with anything else. This 70/30 hybrid is made by crossing two extremely flavorful and effects-heavy strains, Cherry Pie and Tangie, to create a well-balanced, delicious nighttime bud.

Appearance, Flavor & Aroma

As its parentage would suggest, this is a flavorful bud packed with bright cherry sweetness, tropical fruitiness, citrus and pine tones, and a smooth musky aftertaste. The aromas of pine, lemon, and cherry complement the rich coloring of this forest green rocky nugget. To round out the aesthetic these buds are covered in bright green trichomes, sticky resin, and a thin spattering of orange hairs.

Effects

If Forbidden Fruit’s flavor profile didn’t get you, the high certainly will. This smooth burning bud offers users a break from coughing fits and induces an immediately chill mind, great for unwinding at the end of the day. This nightcap strain builds through the head and neck, making its way to the rest of your body with an almost tranquilizer-like relaxation and will almost instantly give you that sleepy feeling. Though it won't completely knock you out right away, this strain is euphoric and uplifting but definitely aims to give you a great night of sleep.

Because of the aforementioned effects and the strength in which they hit, Forbidden Fruit is a perfect combatant for insomnia. It rolls in fast, washing away any troubles falling asleep. This also makes it a great strain for the treatment of depression, stress, anxiety, and bipolar. You can utilize this strain for inflammation or lack of appetite as it does a great job at getting your blood moving.

Growing

Forbidden Fruit may sound daunting when you hear it, but this plant actually isn’t too hard of a grow. It is recommended for those with skills at least intermediate level or above. This is an indoor/outdoor ready seed, though controlled environments are best. Expect a flowering time of around 10 weeks and an average yield in the right conditions.

As rare as its name might suggest, this strain is not totally impossible to find, though you might have a good go at it. Because it’s not totally clear what countries or states offer this gem, you may have to do a bit of research to get your hands on it. With that being said, once you’ve tried it, you’re unlikely to get it off your mind. This Forbidden Fruit is one that even the snake would keep for himself.

My friend came to visit and brought me a half ounce of this and when he threw the bag at me I could already tell I was in love and asked him to leave me all he had left before he went back to Oregon. The Smell was incredibly strong and fruity it smells like it came out of the mind of Willy-Wonka and you just might turn into a big tropical fruit. When I reached in to the bag there were some pieces they were so sticky they hardened like candy. My favorite part is the feeling of course. I ended up with a little over 1.5 oz by the time he left. I looked for 6 months in Las Vegas till I could even find it again. Boy was I disappointed when I found it. I realized originally I got some amazing stuff cause the 3 growers I've found since have never lived up to the stuff from Oregon in February. The best Forbidden Fruit buds will look almost black & purple with green, blue, reds& oranges. All the colors you'd see in a serious bruise.lol The greener the buds the less powerful of an affect of the real potential this flower has. 1 growers version was so disappointing I decarbed it in my Ardent Nova and used it for tea for the affect but it lacked any characteristics of the strain other than the aroma.Don't be fooled, look for the colors of a bruise when paying up for this as it is not cheap in Vegas. I admit I was spoiled by my intro to this delicious flower and I'll never give up the hunt for other growers of this.

The best fruity strain I have ever had the pleasure of having. The taste, smell and appearance are all top shelf. Sweet smelling like mango fruit punch with a knockout punch. This bud does not disappoint!

living in the UK we have to pay primo prices for any packs or tins. Loose Cali comes in a little cheaper. Lots of fantastic growers in the uk now. Had a Q of Forbidden Fruits and really didnt want it to run out. I love my flavour strains, but this had some power too. One of my favourite ever tasting strains.

Dont be fooled by the sweet, fruity, candy-like aroma. The taste is sweet, smooth and berry-like with no indication of a cough present. After the 1st inhale you will feel a floating cerebral buzz followed by a gradual tingling body high after a few more puffs. One of my favorites
