About Forbidden Fruit

History & Genetics

Eve had the right idea - that is if she were reaching for this particular Forbidden Fruit. Apples are great and all, but we assure you once you’ve tried this strain, you’ll have a hard time imagining Eden with anything else. This 70/30 hybrid is made by crossing two extremely flavorful and effects-heavy strains, Cherry Pie and Tangie, to create a well-balanced, delicious nighttime bud.

Appearance, Flavor & Aroma

As its parentage would suggest, this is a flavorful bud packed with bright cherry sweetness, tropical fruitiness, citrus and pine tones, and a smooth musky aftertaste. The aromas of pine, lemon, and cherry complement the rich coloring of this forest green rocky nugget. To round out the aesthetic these buds are covered in bright green trichomes, sticky resin, and a thin spattering of orange hairs.

Effects

If Forbidden Fruit’s flavor profile didn’t get you, the high certainly will. This smooth burning bud offers users a break from coughing fits and induces an immediately chill mind, great for unwinding at the end of the day. This nightcap strain builds through the head and neck, making its way to the rest of your body with an almost tranquilizer-like relaxation and will almost instantly give you that sleepy feeling. Though it won't completely knock you out right away, this strain is euphoric and uplifting but definitely aims to give you a great night of sleep.

Because of the aforementioned effects and the strength in which they hit, Forbidden Fruit is a perfect combatant for insomnia. It rolls in fast, washing away any troubles falling asleep. This also makes it a great strain for the treatment of depression, stress, anxiety, and bipolar. You can utilize this strain for inflammation or lack of appetite as it does a great job at getting your blood moving.

Growing

Forbidden Fruit may sound daunting when you hear it, but this plant actually isn’t too hard of a grow. It is recommended for those with skills at least intermediate level or above. This is an indoor/outdoor ready seed, though controlled environments are best. Expect a flowering time of around 10 weeks and an average yield in the right conditions.

As rare as its name might suggest, this strain is not totally impossible to find, though you might have a good go at it. Because it’s not totally clear what countries or states offer this gem, you may have to do a bit of research to get your hands on it. With that being said, once you’ve tried it, you’re unlikely to get it off your mind. This Forbidden Fruit is one that even the snake would keep for himself.

This strains has attractive "Bag appeal" as well as a pungent fruity type nose a hint of baked fruit pie if that makes sense? It's quite cerebral with out having to "chase" the high.. meaning having to navigate "chase" your high through stages. This is a constant mild level high. Of course I always use my flower vape when I consume cannabis for maximum terp profile and effects. The high again is mild you'll totally feel it but it won't hang around to long also a classic Indica effect greets you with a mild body buzz that won't lock down but enough to make you stop and smell the roses so to speak. Again the jar appeal at the dispensaries that carry this strain will total catch your eye. Grab an eight it's worth it.

Been a long-time smoker not usually too picky about the type but by far this is the best. I love the smell and the high is perfect.

Great smoke. Effects felt after one pull. Hits you in between the eyes but moves to the body just like it says it should. 3 pulls on the couch. Everyday smoker so need a powerful strain usually. This is up there. 8/10
