Tahoe OG
About Tahoe OG
History & Genetics
Tahoe OG was originally created by a Ganja Guru who lived in Lake Tahoe, California in the late 1980s. Today the strain usually leans and feels more indica, but may also lean sativa depending on the grower. It was created by crossing OG Kush mixed with SFV OG Kush. You can expect about 20-25% THC and a 50/50 balanced hybrid.

THC Content
Tahoe OG exhibits large neon green calyxes with an extra thick layer of trichomes and has a very pungent aroma with mixtures of lemon, earthiness, pine and a somewhat skunky fuel. The smoke says stagnant in the room with it's spicy aroma.
Effects
The taste is incredibly smooth, definitely one you'd hope for when seeking out a calming and numbing sensation. Some users report this as one of the best strains for getting a good night sleep and for curing insomnia due to its fast-acting, sedative effect. It features a lemony taste above an earthy taste and has orange and red hairs on the bush.
It provides heavy brain relaxation especially in the frontal lobe as well as behind the eyes. When inhaled, it starts to create a numbing effect that circulates throughout the entire body. With this relaxation comes the feeling of euphoria and some minor creativity stimulation. Medicinally, Tahoe OG has been proven useful for muscle pain and spasms, mood enhancement and as a powerful anti-anxiety aid. Tahoe OG lasts up to 3 hours and provides a relaxing feeling throughout the day.
Growing
This medium-width yet lanky plant is best harvested after approximately 70 days of flowering and yields a moderate to high crop. Outdoor or Indoor grow operations can flourish with this strain. You can expect around 11 ounces per plant during harvest. Tahoe OG will thrive with the assistance of trimming and a keen eye for fertilizer calibration, so an experienced grower would be best growing this one. This strain is great at keeping molds and mildew at bay because it has proven to be quite resilient.

Don't let the lower THC content bother you because it is strangely strong and lasts longer comparatively. I love this for my creativity! Best strain for it I've found. I feel very euphoric! Doesn't really make me tired as much as relaxed.

I know this strain is supposed to be indica dominant and all but it weirdly felt like sativa to me and made me very anxious compared to other indicas or hybrids I’ve tried. It is pretty strong but it’s just not a very enjoyable high and it’s been one of the only strains I haven’t enjoyed in a while. I heard great things but I was quite disappointed.

Tahoe OG is one of my favorite strains. It’s a good way to love yourself the body high is so comfortable and cozy. The head high is buzzy and happy...I’m at my most happiest while on this which most likely means it’s great for those struggling with depression like me. If you suffer from seasonal depression, this might be a god send. The overall high lasts long maybe an hour and a half. As I’m writing this I’m feeling that couchlock which is not a bad thing at all considering I’m about to hit the sack! Stoned lol
