Appearance, Aroma & Flavor

Mellow enough for most types of users to enjoy, Sundae Driver ranges between 14% and 16% THC. A bevy of colors awaits your eyes as these olive green buds are accented by purple undertones, reddish pistils, and shiny white trichomes. An interesting blend of flavors and aromas is present here, with rich chocolate and sweet and sour fruit blending together for a nice mix, with just the slightest hint of earth to balance things out. While some might consider her to be a dessert strain, Sundae Driver can be great at any time of the day.

Given her happy-go-lucky attitude, Sundae Driver is often utilized by medical patients to uplift their mood. However, she’s been said to be equally beneficial when it comes to physical ailments, so the next time you have a migraine or cramps, try taking a few puffs. Again, if you have a low tolerance and you indulge heavily enough, Sundae Driver might be able to help you fall asleep.

Growing

As experienced home growers can attest to, one look at Sundae Driver should spark the desire to have this plant in your backyard as soon as possible. The mystery, however, is that Cannarado Genetics doesn’t seem to make this specific strain available on their website. Plenty of other hybrids using Sundae Driver are for sale, but seeds of this exact strain are tough to come by. It’s rumored that she takes anywhere from 7 to 10 weeks to mature, so if you do get your hands on some, plan accordingly.

Sundae Driver is one of those strains that’s perfect for just about everyone - newer users can start slowly with her and time their high to kick in toward the latter part of their day while those who are more experienced could enjoy smoking this bud without abandon. Her mixture of great flavors and balanced effects usually checks off all the boxes no matter what your plans are for the day.

I love this strain. When properly cured, the flavor and scent is lightly fruity. I like to use this strain in my vaporizer to properly enjoy the flavor. The buds are light green with dashes of orange hairs and bits of purple, covered in trichomes. This strain is a hybrid, but for me I feel more of the sativa effects but none of the potential anxiety from a sativa. It's a mellow, relaxing strain with a nice uplifting buzz. Good energy for creative projects, an afternoon of gaming or other weekend day chill activities. You can still feel enough of the indica that I don't know how well it would work for day use if you have something you need to get done, but maybe. Definitely at least give this one a try.

This should be called Monday trash. The smell was very interesting and the bud was very spongy so I initially was excited. The smoke was harsh and tasted horrendous. The ash was more black than gray/white. The high was mild and basically not even noticeable as it destroyed my throat. Not good.

I speculated purchasing this strain from my plug, but read the review here and one line stood out to me and sealed the deal - “Women’s health issues”. I have dealt with PMDD for the majority if my life, but was only diagnosed a year ago. Treatment involves being on of Prozac for 2 weeks out of the month. While Prozac has improved my symptoms, every cycle is different, and I now deal with waves of nausea. Sundae Driver is a much needed relief from my PMDD symptoms and the nausea caused by my prescribed meds. I consumed this with a water pipe (bong) and was pleased with the berry-like taste, and bright, soothing effects.
