The aroma of Ghost Train Haze is sweet and piney, with hints of citrus, lemon, and spice. Even breaking up a bud will cause a strong, hazy odor to permeate around the room. The bright green buds of the Ghost Train Haze nuggets are thick and dense, rich with trichomes and coated in light orange hairs. The generously frosted buds will surely have you thinking Christmas came early this year! The smoke is extremely smooth, with more of an OG taste with a sharp, sweet pine flavor.
Effects
This strain is well known for it's potent effects, having even been featured on the May 12th, 2012 cover of High Times, serving as a sort of visual ambassador to represent the "Strongest Strains on Earth." The effects are oftentimes deemed borderline psychedelic by even the most experienced smokers, with both the heady euphoria of Sativa with the heavy body stone of an Indica.
While the strain can provide a boost in energy and uplifting euphoria, it is better used for relaxing due to the cerebral haziness that occur with stronger doses. Needless to say, it's best to keep the dose low if you plan on having an active day.
Ghost Train Haze is a very potent strain, with a wide variety of medical applications. It is a useful strain for those suffering from the symptoms of cancer, both alleviating pain and increasing their appetite. Victims of both depression and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder will also find relief in this strain.
Ghost Train Haze can also be used to treat glaucoma. And the calming, relaxing effect in light doses can prove useful for those with Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Growing
While a warm climate and outdoors grow location are conducive to favorable results, Ghost Train Haze will also flourish indoors as well, with a 65 to 80 day flowering time. The crop is favorably high and the yield is quite bountiful. With a plentiful yield, potent strength, and impressive shelf life, Ghost Train Haze is a great choice for intermediate growers.

I’m relatively new , 1 year now as a medical user but 30 years ago I was an avid social smoker. At 1st when I read about the strain it made me Cautious which is not a bad thing. I picked up an 1/8 and started out slowly and was truly rewarded with a great experience. Indeed this is a strong strain but I judge that from my own tolerance and the sessions I medicated with it. Great taste with desirable effects rather heavy but indeed when used in humble amounts the pay off is great

This strain was awesome. I had a pre-roll by Color Cannabis, and damn. It didn't hit at first but before I knew it I was feeling like joy wrapped up in a warm smile. I don't know how else to explain the effects. Agree with other reviewer about it causing more introspection. If you don't want to risk seeing yourself in others, bearing witness to some of your imperfections, and maybe, possibly growing internally, this may not be a good strain for you. Legit though! It holds up a gentle mirror and it may have been some "work" I'd already been doing on myself but it helped me push pause on self-judgement. Maybe that's what makes this so great for the drained feeling that comes after anxiety. This has great possibilities for giving you some joyful energy back in the midst of a depression or slump. This is definitely a perspective strain- it expands it, contracts it, and goes where you mind has been going most. Be humble about your tolerance with this bud though, because it does pack a punch; And cause some serious dry-mouth. Great strain for creativity. Word of warning though, when I smoked a second joint of this when the first high started fading, I didn't wait long enough and gave myself a spacey feeling for a little bit on the second joint.

My two paragraph essay got deleted when i accidentally fat fingered back a page, so i'll sum it up:potent, process-driven, focused, euphoric, racey, awake, dry eyes

Amazingly psychoactive and therapeutic all at the same time. If you suffer from depression or mental weights, it may be better to invest in an ounce of this than an hour of therapy, very introspective effect , while also being very energetic.
