About Boss Frost

Boss Frost is a 50/50 strain not to be confused with Frost Boss, which is a hybrid of Timewreck and Mob Boss. This strain, by contrast, is a phenotype of Gorilla Glue S2. It has a soaring THC level and even a ton of CBD, so only experienced users need apply. The strain’s high is incredibly tingling and hunger-inducing, so be prepared to feel sedated and out of it on this strain. You’ll be iced over.

The Boss Frost strain grows fluffy green nugs that are dark and forest-colored, with undertones of purple beneath. Its hairs are dark amber and its trichomes are thick, heavy, and cover the plant in an orange frost. The strain flowers in around 54-62 days on average and grows 30-60 inches in height indoors. Outdoors, it gets much taller, more like 60-80 inches.

The strain’s terpene profile is diverse but heavy on three main flavors – limonene, pinene, and linalool. This gives the strain a heavy initial flavor of pine and lime, with sweet lemon overtones. Other terpenes in the mix include myrcene, valencene, and caryophyllene. The strain’s aroma is full of deep, earthy flavors with overtones of chocolate, sweet citrus, and spicy wood.

The high of the Boss Frost strain is dreamy, sedation-inducing, and utterly relaxing. But it starts out subtler with euphoric, tingling feelings that slowly spread to your appendages and throughout your body. You’ll feel hungry and then slowly go into a citrus-earthy haze (with a hint of chocolate).

We recommend saving Boss Frost for later in the evening when you have nothing left to do but sit, relax, eat, and basically just veg out and wait for sleep. For that, the strain’s 30% THC level will knock you out, pretty much no matter how much experience you have. The strain even retains up to 8% CBD through the extraction process, so be prepared for a very psychoactive strain.

So long as you’re in a position to doze off in an icy fog, Boss Frost can be a very relieving strain, especially if you hold in a lot of stress from work. Head-clearing and body-alleviating, Boss Frost sounds aggressive (and its chemical contents confirm it), but if you have the experience to handle it, it could be the potent evening-ender you’ve been craving at the end of your long weeks.
