Nunavut Possession, Purchasing, and Consumption Rules

You can purchase cannabis in Nunavut if you are 19 years old or older and possess up to 30 grams of cannabis on you in public at a time.  You can also grow up to four cannabis plants at home for personal use.  Purchasing cannabis in store: There are no licensed retail stores currently open in Nunavut.  Purchasing cannabis online: The only way to purchase cannabis in Nunavut is online through Tweed or Vertical CannabisConsumption laws: You can consume cannabis at home or in a licensed cannabis smoke lounge. Driving while high is illegal. 

Nunavut Licensing Rules for Retailers

The Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission (NULC) regulates retail cannabis.  An avenue for private licensing for retail is possible under Nunavut’s law, but it has not been clearly defined.
