About Tonics Web

Tonics Web is a rare, slightly-Indica hybrid strain by Highsmen, a company devoted to the genetics of cannabis. Tonics Web is the result of an ambitious crossbreeding of the popular, CBD-rich strain Charlotte’s Web and the flavorful Chocolate Tonic. This pain-relief powerhouse packs quite the punch without a crazy, heady, psychoactive high.

Tonics Web was crossbred with the intention of creating a potent pain reliever with a unique flavor and aroma. By combining two high-CBD strains of cannabis, Highsmen crafted a wonderful daytime strain that is useful in treating all sorts of everyday woes like chronic pain, depression, and stress. The buds themselves smell like a forest after its rained: a mix of musty earth and pine with undertones of sweet citrus and bitter coffee. When burned, the bud releases a flavor similar to that of a mocha latte, a mix of both rich dark chocolate and robust coffee grounds. Immediately after exhaling, you’ll find yourself sparking back up just to taste the flavor again.

The THC:CBD ratio on Tonics Web can vary depending on the particular harvest, but typically it retains a ratio a little less than 2:1. This is great for patients who have bad experiences with high-THC levels including hallucinations, increased heart rate, anxiety, nausea, and headaches. With an incredibly high CBD level average 7%, this strain will tend to your woes in a subtle manner that you might miss entirely if you’re preoccupied with your day’s errands.

On the exhale, you’ll likely notice a slight tingling sensation begin to appear throughout your body and head. As this sensation fades away, it comes back in the form of a deep sense of relaxation that is likely to put even the most experienced stoners to sleep. Many report a case of light to medium couch lock being a common side effect of this strain of cannabis. However, unlike most other Indica-heavy strains, this couch lock won’t be psychoactive. This is because the low-THC levels in the strain coupled with the high-CBD levels relax your body without the heady high. Although your brain might feel energetic and a sense of euphoria might take hold in your mind, it’s unlikely you’re going to find the ability to get up off the sofa once you’ve been locked in. This is great for those who need physical relief while also needing a way to stretch their mind.
