About The Bling
The Bling revels in sweet funk. Take or leave it, it’s like inhaling a skunk after he binged an entire berry patch. You may be surprised to learn that publications once proclaimed The Bling “the next big thing” since you may not have heard of it until today. Building off a unique White Widow strain, specifically a clone-only variety from Colorado, the grower known only as Monk capitalized on its potency by breeding in some Legends Ultimate Indica. The result may no longer be the next big thing, but it might be your evening’s big thing right friggin’ now.
With White Widow as a mom, it shouldn’t surprise you that The Bling is more than blinged out with a blanket of crystal trichomes. The nugs are a dusty green with flashes of neon. Even while still on the plant, they have the faint aroma of acrid fruit, sweet and skunky and pungent.
The Bling has a smoke cloud that fills the room with a thick smell of fruit and musk. Those who like their strains hashy-sweet will love The Bling, though we wouldn’t recommend it for people with sensitive sinuses. If you can resist the urge to cough, The Bling makes a sweet nighttime companion that’ll send your mind places. To sleep, mostly.
This strain makes a great fix for people who suffer from insomnia. It’ll sink you deep into a munchy, relaxing lethargy in no time. At first, you’ll be wide awake, alert, ready to go … to your couch, to sink into skunky slumber near your snacks, far away from the stresses of your workday, relationships, and other anxieties.
You won’t go to sleep immediately – The Bling will actually give you a boost of energy at first – but your eyelids will get heavy before long, coerced by the thick cloud of fruity musk to ignore the fact that you’ve been an insomniac up until now.
Today, a 19% THC high may not break the seed bank, but The Bling can get you to sleep regardless. If you can stand the taste of putrid fruit, musk and berry, and not cough from the thick cloud of smoke, The Bling is a great nighttime buddy to have after a long workday. If you’re a grower, you’ll be able to see the strain’s namesake: the clusters of White Widow crystals that cloak the plant in frost. If not, you may never know why it’s called that. You’ll just assume it’s because it makes you feel like money.
Pack me another bowl, this stuff is beautiful. I had a bowl at 4:20 and I had a boost to grab my munchies and fell asleep watching How It's Made. I love this strain of my favorites.
