About Sour Kosher

Sour Kosher is a Sativa-dominant hybrid strain of cannabis first grown in the Netherlands. Attributed to DNA Genetics, this hybrid is the result of cannabis royalty being crossbred into a brand new hybrid strain. These illustrious breeders took their AJ cut of Sour Diesel and crossed it with their multi-award-winning original known as Kosher Kush, producing an incredibly dense and high-yielding plant with the best of its parents characteristics. Although it’s certainly a strain to be considered based off of its creator alone, this strain’s potent effects and wonderful profile only serve to make the strain an even bigger “must try” strain. Sour Kosher, with an average THC concentration of 19%, makes for an excellent daytime strain.

Sour Kosher buds, at first glance, look like they should be indica-dominant flowers, as they are oversized and popcorn-shaped, taking on hues of forest and olive green. Because of this, Sour Kosher has become incredibly popular in markets that need more Sativas, as most Sativa plants are low-yielders with small buds. These buds are accented with deep lavender and violet undertones which make these buds quite the lookers. Covering the surface of these buds are slightly translucent trichomes that look like a fine dusting of sugar.

The aroma produced by these buds is quite pungent, which can make growing and consuming this bud in situations where discretion is key near-impossible. The flavor has been described by users as a clever blend of sweet and sour herbs with an exhale inherited straight from its Sour Diesel parentage.

The effects of this strain, as it is a Sativa-dominant hybrid, are quite heady in nature. The high comes on with a rush of uplifting effects sure to boost your mood and put a big grin on your face. Users have described feeling incredibly motivated with a boost to not only energy but also their ability to focus, which makes putting that newfound energy to good use very easy. Although these effects are long-lasting, the high does eventually become a bit more physical, often relaxing the body a few hours into the experience. You’ll likely experience a bit of a tingling sensation that spreads throughout the body and subtly relaxes and aches or tensions you have.

Sour Kosher has become quite popular in markets where it’s available due to its commercial viability for growers and its popularity amongst consumers familiar with the DNA Genetics brand.
