About Sour Chocolate

Don’t judge a book by its cover, and definitely don’t judge your weed by its name. Sour Chocolate is one of the more delicious strains on the market, and although it’s quite rare, users rave about it when they can find it. A pure sativa from unknown breeders, this plant’s parents are Chocolope and Sour Diesel, a combination that hits your sweet tooth every time.

Most reports show that Sour Chocolate has an average THC level of 22%, making it ideal for anyone. Nugs of this strain are quite pretty, with deep purple undertones, matching pistols, sticky resin, and a fine layer of trichomes. Sounds pretty perfect, right? It gets even better with a sweet and sour vanilla and chocolate combination, one that may take some getting used to but becomes fully addicting before long.

You know the saying that what goes up must come down? Sour Chocolate was probably bred with that phrase in mind, as your high will take you to the upper limits of sociability before plunging you gently down into a sleepy state. Describing your high as a cerebral lift doesn’t do it justice, as just a few puffs will have you feeling incredibly happy, talkative, and in many cases creative. You’ll soar on this euphoric wave for a while and as the potency hits you with its full force, you’ll be lulled to sleep in no time.

Not being able to get enough sleep can be detrimental, and although Sour Chocolate brings you up before taking you down, this strain is widely used when battling insomnia. Conversely, if you struggle with fatigue, particularly in the latter half of the day, you can use this strain as a final boost before it’s time to clock out. Mental and physical ailments are also aided by her high THC content, making this strain a jack of all trades.

Unknown breeders often equate to limited access on the market, and while flower is hard enough to come by, determining how to grow your own Sour Chocolate is another mystery in itself. Is she available in seed form or clone only? If you find out, let us know. By all accounts this strain is a prized possession of whoever created her, so don’t hold your breath if you’re looking to cultivate some.

We don’t want to dampen your enthusiasm, because Sour Chocolate is out there for purchase, it just may take a little bit of work. However once you find some of this magical strain, be sure to stock up as best as you can. Even the flavors alone make it worthwhile, and when you bring her all-inclusive effects into the mix, you can’t help but call this strain nearly perfect.
