About Purple Raine
Although this bud may evoke images of one of the more famous male music artists of the century, Purple Raine is actually a bit different than you’d expect. Not to be confused with another strain that shares a similar name, this gal is a very mysterious plant that was crafted by Taylor Lane Farms specifically for 831 Organiks in Southern California. She’s a three-way blend between OG Kush, Chemdawg, and Purple Candy Kush.
Ideal for nearly all types of users, except maybe those brand new to the game, Purple Raine offers a gentle 19% THC potency. As if it’s a big surprise, nugs of this strain feature a fairly bold purple undertone and are rather dense, making them difficult to break up without a grinder. However, she makes up for it with a delicious flavor that’s reminiscent of candy and fruit. These notes permeate her aroma as well along with a hint of pine to balance things out.
Just like rain on a tin roof at night, Purple Raine has a way of relaxing you to the core. She initially brings about strong cerebral effects that include an increase in creative energy along with heightened focus, so try using a bit of this strain to work on a long-forgotten project. Joy will overtake you as your high continues, but get ready to come down in the best way possible. If you’re sensitive to cannabis, you can expect to fall asleep quite deeply while others just might feel intensely relaxed.
Given that she’s a balanced hybrid, this strain offers the best of all worlds when it comes to medicinal relief. Individuals who often have sad evenings will enjoy watching their anxiety and depression dissolve away, making room for the ability to fall asleep with a smile on their face. Symptoms of arthritis and even appetite concerns can also easily be addressed by this bud, making her one that you should have on hand at all times.
While we’d love to announce that this strain is widely available in seed or clone form, that just doesn’t seem to be the case. It was initially created in 2015 for a very specific purpose, so bringing it into your garden is highly unlikely. You can try hunting her down if you’d like, but you probably won’t have much luck outside of the Los Angeles area.
We know, we can’t get the song out of our heads either, but at least you can jam out to some sweet tunes while you smoke this exquisite bud. Purple Raine brings tasty flavors along with a varied set of effects to brighten any evening or to make a lazy Sunday just a bit better.
