About Pinot Green

Created in the Pacific Northwest by Oregon Cannabis Authority, Pinot Green is a cross between White Widow and AK-47. With surging mental effects and a mellow, woodsy flavor profile, Pinot Green is a great way to enjoy some time in nature with friends. The THC content has been measured at between 15% and 23%.

Although the name might lead you to expect an aroma of a wine, what you actually get is a rugged scent of pine with earthy tones of damp soil and leaves, that when ground apart have more of a skunky odor. Combusting causes the flowers to burn with a heavy, incense-like smoke that’s easy on the lungs and when exhaling has a nutty flavor reminiscent of cocoa. Her bud’s may be on the smaller side but their vivid shade of spring green laced with curly orange pistils makes her stand out. She is topped off with a coat of sticky resin, inherited from White Widow’s high trichome production, that accounts for her psychoactivity.

As a hybrid, she first shows her dominate side, an active headspace where thoughts seem to flow with a greater speed or intensity. This mental energy can help productivity on detailed tasks or creative pursuits, but also provides a background buzz for those going about an otherwise boring day’s agenda. As the effects progress out comes her indica side, physical relaxation that can relieve any knobs of muscular tension. At this point, some sensory distortions like mild visual or auditory hallucinations may occur. Embrace it and add some atmospheric elements like moody music to enhance her high. Like wine, Pinot Green is a good option for afternoon or evening use.

Pinot Green’s wide-ranging effects can have several uses for medical patients as well. Her onset of cerebral energy can help those with ADD, and her ability to improve moods can soothe symptoms of stress and depression. Pinot Green can also be a good analgesic for all kinds of aches and pains, whether temporary and injury-related or chronic conditions. Toke with caution if you are prone to panic as she can get the mind a bit frisky.

Sadly, Oregon Cannabis Authority doesn’t have seeds for commercial sale. So if you’re lucky enough to come across a plant, try and sang some clippings to foster as “clones”, keeping them in hot humid climate either indoors or out. Always tend to your plants, trimming them when needed, reciting poetry, serenading with a love ballad, and in about 9 to 10 weeks they’ll return your love.
