About Pacific Frost
Just like a splash of ocean air will simultaneously invigorate you and help you to relax, Pacific Frost by Cannafornia has similar effects. This slightly indica-dominant bud was bred by crossing Pacific OG and Frosty, culminating in what many call a boutique type of strain. She’s hard to find outside of California and even harder to grow at home, but that doesn’t stop people from loving her nonetheless.
Salinas-based breeders have yet to release THC data for this particular strain, but by all accounts, it sounds like she’s ideal for most types of users. Nugs of Pacific Frost don’t look quite as frosty as you’d guess, with a brownish-green shade that’s only slightly accented by small white trichomes. If you’re looking for a bud that has a sort of cooling flavor or aroma, we’re sorry to inform you that she’s not going to be the one. Instead, Pacific Frost has a more bold and savory blend that many compare to members of the OG and Purple families, leaving you feeling as if you’ve just had an encounter with nature.
While she has a fair amount of sativa genetics in her makeup, this strain certainly identifies with her indica roots and for most users ends up coming on quite strong in a physical sense. You’ll likely notice your body getting very heavy right off the bat, although this is often accompanied by a bit of a euphoric mental state as well. Sure, life will seem glorious and you’ll probably be smiling for the next few hours, but more often than not, smokers turn to Pacific Frost because she can help to dull pain, reduce nausea, and so much more.
The team at Cannafornia may not be as mysterious as other breeders out there, but that doesn’t mean they’re willing to share their labors of love with the world’s gardens either. Not only are seeds of Pacific Frost nearly impossible to find, but this strain isn’t even featured on their website anymore, leaving people wondering if she was a special limited edition bud. If you live in Central California, you might be able to locate her at a local dispensary, but outside of her seemingly minimal distribution area, you’re better off looking for another strain.
Pacific Frost clearly gets her name from her parents rather than from her flavors or appearance, but that doesn’t mean she’s any less worthy of your time on a Friday night. Consider turning to this bud if you’ve had a particularly long day or you’re experiencing medical issues that over the counter pain relievers just can’t handle. We’d recommend clearing your calendar as well because while this bud can infuse some with a little bit of energy, you also have just as high of a chance completely passing out on the couch.
