About Ms Universe
Ms Universe is a sativa-dominant strain that’s beautiful on the inside and out. This looker is the creation of Dynasty Seeds, the creators of Blue Magoo, and is a cross between their own Des*Star and famed sativa Space Queen. This sativa delivers heady but well-balanced effects and a fruity taste. Ms Universe’s THC content has been measured at between 14% and 24%.
Ms Universe didn’t earn her title for nothing -- her trimmed buds are visually striking, with a typically medium size and chunky shape. These flowers seem to have a hybridized bud structure, dense at their core but with leaves that spiral loosely outward. The fluffy leaves themselves are a mossy green and are twisted through with brown and yellow pistils. Icy white trichomes cover the inner and outer nooks and crannies of these compact flowers, giving them a very sticky texture.
On initial inspection, flowers of Ms Universe give forth a saccharine scent somewhat like vanilla icing. There are also some fruity, berry-like accents lurking underneath. Cracking open these buds yields herbal notes of sage and eucalyptus, possibly passed on from Space Queen. When burnt, the strain gives off a smooth and easily ingested smoke. This smoke tends to taste sweet and tropical on the exhale.
Ms Universe’s high takes effect quickly, exerting a pressure around the eyes and lower forehead even before smokers have exhaled its fruity smoke. A flushing in the cheeks and an increase in salivation may signal that this bud is working its magic. As smokers adjust to these novel sensations, they may feel their thoughts take on a new intensity. Concepts and ideas may jump from one to the next in free association, and some inner monologues may become so loud as to drown out any immediate surroundings. While this kind of cerebral flow can be disorienting for some, for others it can be put to use in the execution of complex, analytical tasks. If you want to feel productive but don’t necessarily want to use your brain, Ms Universe can also add some color to other mundane tasks like cleaning or yard work. As the high wears on or as dosage is increased, this bud’s physical sedation can slowly emerge. Waves of relaxation begin to roll down the spine and radiate outward through the core and limbs. Users who may have been active before may quickly find themselves darting for the closest comfortable couch. At this point, Ms Universe confers weighty sedation that’s better suited to an extended binge-watching session than it is to crossing things off your to-do list. That said, smokers are typically able to maintain a lucid, upbeat mindset even as they slip into couchlock. As such, Ms Universe can be a good addition to social gatherings, where it can inspire easy conversation and camaraderie. This strain is recommended for enjoyment between afternoon and evening when its slow decline in energy levels can be fully appreciated.
Ms Universe’s sleepy vibes can also be of use to medical cannabis patients. Its early feelings of focus may be helpful to those with attention deficit disorders, helping them to concentrate on single tasks. Its euphoria can also temporarily relieve the symptoms of mild to moderate stress and depression. Physiologically speaking, the strain can soothe aches and pains, whether they’re temporary, as due to injury, or chronic, as due to conditions like lupus or arthritis. Its anti-inflammatory properties may also dull everyday irritations like headaches and nausea. Because its onset comes with a feeling of mind race that may be disorienting in the wrong circumstances, Ms Universe is not recommended for patients who are prone to panic or paranoia.
Although Dynasty once sold seeds of Ms Universe online, they do not seem to be regularly stocked. As such, prospective growers should obtain clippings of mature plants in order to grow genetically identical “clones.” Plants tend to grow tall and may require occasional pruning in order to fit in limited indoor spaces. Ms Universe flowers within 9 to 10 weeks when grown indoors and offers a high yield of up to 51 grams (or 1.8 ounces) of flower per square foot of plant.
Ms Universe is a great option for indica and sativa lovers alike. It can be fun whether you’re toking alone or sharing it with a group of like-minded friends.
