Maple Leaf Indica
About Maple Leaf Indica
Maple Leaf Indica, as the name would suggest, is an entirely pure Indica strain that has flavors of sweetness and spice.
This strain has a very powerful body high that can knock out inexperienced users. Often described as narcotic and calming, Maple Leaf Indica also provides cerebral stimulation. Its relaxing effects extend to the mind, making it suitable for meditation. Most users experience a surge of creativity before an overwhelming laziness and fatigue set in. The most common negative effect is cotton mouth. Some users may also experience dry eyes, minor headaches, and, occasionally, paranoia with higher doses.
This strain should be reserved for evening or nighttime use, and for this reason it is often chosen by insomniacs. Maple Leaf Indica's effects on the body are used to ease the most severe aches and pains. It is prescribed to relieve anxiety, stress, and nausea. It is also used as an aphrodisiac.
Maple Leaf Indica is the product of Sensi Seeds and is descended from a pure landrace Afghani Indica strain, brought from Afghanistan before the Russian invasion. It is a back-cross of the landrace strain, designed to show the purity of the parent line. This strain is not suitable for outdoor cultivation. It has a short flowering period, which usually finishes within 45 days. Maple Leaf Indica's yield is average.
1st off any "Landrace Strain" can be grown outdoors. You just can't expect a tropical sativa to flourish in an outdoor environment that is suited more for colder weather indicas and vice versa...I have a landrace MLI that i grow both indoor and naturally outdoor in the PNW summer and the outdoor version is far surperior in rigor, fast growth, and flowers at warp speed...It literally is a dark green bush that is sturdier than the foundation of a new home. The veg period has no smell. Then even the light green, dense, trichome galore flower has more of a pine scent with faint tropical aromas..that said after a proper hang dry and 2-3 month cure in air tight mason jars the real gassy, honey, sweet smell takes over..It really cant be described unless you've experienced it!...The outdoor version always has more flavor, more smell, and is stronger...Very sticky and it does act like a sativa for 30 min or so before the raging body high that relaxes you, makes you hungry, then sleepy
