Ape Cookies
About Ape Cookies
History & Genetics
Ape Cookies is a fascinating strain created by crossing cult favorites Durban Poison, O.G. Kush, and Grape Ape. When working with three different strains to create a new cultivar, Mr. Postma from Crown Canna, preferred to start the process with an open pollination method. He took the best male and female phenotype of each strain and let them naturally breed. After a tedious process and pheno hunt, he created a unique strain that is not only stable but will yield.
Ape Cookies is a fairly balanced hybrid that leans 60% indica. The entourage effect provides a perfect trifecta to elevate your overall experience. Currently, this strain is testing between 24-26% THC, 2% CBD, and 3.5% terpene levels.

Growing
Ape Cookies has an 8-9 week flowering time and prefers soil as a medium. Ape Cookies is a very hearty hybrid that can handle low-stress training and topping with ease. Expect large, frosty yields with an average of 600+ grams/per square meter. Mr. Postma recommends having a trellis net set up or at minimum bamboo sticks to help hold the weight of the flowers as they enter the late flower phase of budding. The more support the more weight the plants will put on. Ape Cookies grows well indoors or outdoors.
