Lying just outside of Oklahoma City, Yukon is a quiet community with deep cultural roots established by the Czech community in the late 1800’s. The town still holds the title of “Czech Capital of Oklahoma,” evidenced by the yearly Czech Festival and Czech Hall, a cultural center on the national registry of historic places established in 1899. Yukon’s Chisholm Trail park contains a trail marker denoting a portion of the famous cattle driving route. The park is the site of the yearly Lights in the Park event, as well as the Chisholm Trail and Crawfish Festival. Check out where to buy cannabis in Yukon!
