St. Catherine's is the largest city in Canada's Niagara Region and the sixth largest urban area in Ontario. St. Catharines carries the official nickname "The Garden City" due to its 1,000 acres of parks, gardens, and trails. Add in the many beaches and ice rinks, and St. Catherine’s has something for any weather. The Niagara Grape & Wine Festival is actually three annual events, which attract hundreds of thousands of visitors to the region each year. St. Catherine’s is also the site of the annual Chicken Chucking Championship, where locals slide frozen chickens across ice, similar to curling. The event was invented as both a fundraiser for local charities, and something fun to do in the middle of winter. Purchase some cannabis in a St. Catherine’s dispensary today.
