Located in central Arizona in Gila County, Payson is known as “The Heart of Arizona.” The town is home to the world’s oldest continuous rodeo, as well as the annual Arizona State Championship Old Time Fiddlers Contest. Additionally, Payson is surrounded by the Tonto National Forest and is known for its vast array of outdoor activities. The city also contains a small selection of medical marijuana dispensaries.
