Flint is the largest city and county seat of Genesee County, Michigan. Located along the Flint River, just one hour northwest of Detroit. General Motors was founded in Flint in 1908, and the workers in Flint organized to create the United Auto Workers union. Flint is now home to several medical marijuana dispensaries after the 2008 partial legalization of cannabis in Michigan.
