The City of Black Hawk started as a mining settlement, but is now known for its gambling operations. This historic town is about a 30 minute drive from Denver, and hosts various casinos as well as a few recreational marijuana stores. Central City, which borders Black Hawk and also offers gambling, also has marijuana stores.
