When cannabis is grown with love and care, users can typically tell. But when there’s a deeply personal story and a rich history behind a particular organization, it makes their bud seem all the more special. Such is the case with Falcanna, a Washington operation that was founded in 2015 by Bethany and Justin Rondeau. Their story, however, actually begins in 2009 when Bethany experienced horrible cluster migraines. Her doctor recommended using cannabis to treat them, and the couple began learning how to grow their own.
Over the next three years, the duo perfected their growing techniques and became comfortable with the full-time cultivation of some of the area’s most desired medical strains. This dedication then transitioned over into another way to help others, and in 2012 they founded a delivery service that brought medical marijuana straight to those who needed it most. They were even able to tailor strains to various ailments, making them one of the most sought after growing operations in the Pacific Northwest.
Eventually, their passion transformed into what is now known as Falcanna, where Bethany and Justin continue to serve their medical patients while also growing strains for recreational use. Fully licensed by the state and having forged strong partnerships with many in the area, they are positioned for exponential growth in the coming years. Their focus on top-shelf strains along with the personal care and consideration that can only come from a family run operation makes Falcanna a name to know.
